9-1-10: Fall 2010 News + Cleveland & New York Shows

After one of the hottest summers I can remember I'm looking forward to some cooler weather and have been working on booking fall and winter shows/tours. We are also planning a new recording to be released early next year. More on that real soon.

Thanks to everyone that made it out to our last show at Rockwood Music Hall in New York City last month. It was great to see everyone. Since our shows in NYC have been well attended, thanks to you all, we thought we'd play a bigger venue. Fortunately it is right next door... it is Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2 and it does the name justice. It is a great room - I went to a couple of shows there this summer and enjoyed them very much. So, if you've ever contemplated coming out to see us, now's the time to take the plunge. We'll be performing as a six-piece band (with more room for everyone!) on Sunday, September 19th at 7:30 PM sharp. And, we will be playing a slightly longer set. Before above date I'd like to invite all my Ohio friends to a show in Cleveland next week! On Saturday, September 11th at 8:00 PM I will be opening up solo for one of my favorite bands, The Strawbs. - HEALTHY FOOD FOR THOUGHT COMPILATION CD

"Give In To This Life" off Reverie is part of this two disc set. This double-CD raises money for the New York Coalition for Healthy School Food. It is a great cause. I think you should buy one of these. I really do. Spotify is a new music site. While it is not live in the U.S. yet it is in the U.K. and a few other countries (check their site for updates). What I like about Spotify is that it actually works in this new music biz 'model' everyone is trying to sort out. I'm on it and get paid by them. Thank you very much for listening. Please mark your calendars for below shows! We'll be back in the Midwest for a tour this November 12-21 and I'll be opening up for Renaissance's Annie Haslam at the Sellersville Theater this December 18th and 19th. Also, we will be performing at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards Ceremony on December 5th at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Allentown, PA.
